Janet explains what it is like to Walk with God as Enoch did!!
Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
You guys! I feel this deep in my heart that God is calling out to you to WALK WITH HIM! To walk with God as Enoch did is to be fully involved in the heartfelt action, passionately motivated in light of Jesus and the Holy Spirit for personal impact (end-benefits).
To walk with God in Hebrew the word for walk is Halak and it means taking the needed action to draw close to Him! It means to take the necessary steps to hear His voice! You have to walk intentionally with Him because God wants to take you to the next place or stage (destination) in your life. He is on the move and He wants you to be on the move too.
When you are “walking with God” He is constantly calling to you to “move forward” …… walking forward with necessary effort! When you WALK with God on a daily basis, you will make progress with benefits! God is calling you to (figuratively) walk out of a particular lifestyle, proceeding to the next level of holiness.
Today I want to encourage you to be intentional about walking with God!
Fellowship is the key word! You can have fellowship, intimacy, and closeness with the Holy Spirit! He is here to HELP YOU!
The Holy Spirit is your companion, your partner, who leads you and guides you, protects you, provides for you, and gives you advice, wisdom, and knowledge. He will lead you through the valley and to mountain tops. He will not forsake you nor turn away from you. When you are weak, He will breathe LIFE upon you and enable you to keep going. When your heart is broken into a million pieces, and you feel like you can’t walk or carry on….. He will carry you!
There is an invitation from the Holy Spirit today…..WILL YOU WALK WITH HIM?
