THE DEPOT PODCAST

HOST: ERIN OLSON

AUDIO PODCAST

In this episode, Erin Olson discusses why it is so hard to be a Christian today during times when people are seeking pleasure more than they are seeking God. Erin continues in her teaching series of 2 Timothy and discusses Paul’s charge to Timothy in chapter 3.

Love of Pleasure: controlled by self, obtained easily, benefits us now, narcotic effect, cooperates with pride

Love of God: God can’t be controlled, often requires effort and sacrifice, often benefits us in the future but not immediately, reminds us of our needs and responsibilities, must lay aside our pride and accomplishments

Warning to all: watch out for false teachers

Sin and wrong will always be exposed.

The Bible is Truth regardless of what any Gallup poll says.
