Table & Well Podcast

HOSTS: Tennison & Ginelle Barry

Every stage of maturity has Needs and Tasks to be completed to fully mature in that stage of maturity.  Even though the elder stage is the last stage, there is still a maturing process that must occur.  We will be discussing the Needs that each elderly community must complete in order for the elder to be fully mature so that the elder can be everything that their community needs them to be.  The elder’s community must,

  • Provide a community for the elder to call their own
  • Recognize the elder as an elder
  • Give the elder the proper place in the community structure
  • Place trust in the elder

These are essential for elders to take their place in their community.  What if every adult in the elder stage of life was part of a community that provided all these things?  What if?
