Table & Well Podcast

HOSTS: Tennison & Ginelle Barry

“(Elders remind us)…we can do this. We can stay at the table a little bit longer than we think we can… We are going to push ourselves, (to stay present) a little bit beyond what we thought we could do, and that’s enough…” ~ Amy Glaser

Elders are so important in building relationally healthy communities. Without them, we are missing a key part, and it’s nearly impossible. What is the role of elders in community? What does healthy community look like? How do we glean their wisdom? In this new series, Wisdom Keepers: The Role of Elders in Building Relationally Healthy Community not only will these questions and many more be answered, the answers will come directly from Elders.

Join Tennison & Ginelle conclude their conversation with Amy Glaser. Amy is the Director of Development with Alive & Well. She is also the Director of the Alive & Well Leadership Community and the creator of Journey Groups. Amy is also the co-author of Relational Skills in the Bible with Chris Coursey.

In this episode listen in as they talk about what it looks like to repair and grow at the same time. Discover ways elders can help communities remain stable in the middle of really hard things.  Also, hear Amy’s dream for healthy community.
