O Lord What’s On Your Heart Today?

O Lord, what’s on Your heart today? What do You long to say?

Posted on

O Lord what’s on Your heart today?
I’m here listening to what You would say.

Speak to me that I may hear Your voice.

Obeying You, Lord, is my choice.

What steps do You have planned,
as today I walk through this land?

Where would You have me go?
Speak to my heart that I may know.

Help me to fulfill Your call.
Lord, I give You my all.

Let me walk in Your Truth and Light,
endure with Your power and might.

I walk boldly without fear,
my heart knows You’re always near.

As we go out to battle today,
it’s right by Your side I’ll stay.

Let me walk in step with You,
so I’m always sure what to do.

Lord keep me in view of Your eyes.
Thank You for hearing my heart-cries.

Lord thank You for choosing me,
thank You for setting me free.

Forever I choose to abide,
in our secret place right at Your side.

I surrender my all to You,
Lord use me however You want to.

Use me to fulfill Your plan,
may I be Your voice in this land.

Heralding the trumpet call,
come brothers and sisters, come all.

My heart longs for others to see,
the beauty wrapped up in Thee.

SCRIPTURE:

Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts Jeremiah 15:16

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Jeremiah 31:33

For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6

Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2

PRAYER:

Father God, how I long to know Your heart, to hear Your voice, to see through Your eyes, to feel what You feel. I long to know You even more than I do now. I long to be as close to You as the very breath I breathe. Draw me to You Lord God. Reveal to me this day all that You desire that I know. Help me to complete the call You have placed upon my life in honor and integrity. May I never cause you sadness. But may I always bring You joy in what You see in my heart and in what You see in my actions and the words I speak. Fill me to overflowing with Your Presence so that when I am with others it is You that they see and not me. May they only feel Your Love. May they be drawn to You Father God, always. Please give me the Words each day that You long for me to speak. Let me be a voice and a vessel that You can use for Your work here in this land. Thank You for the anointing that You have placed upon me and my life. I am forever grateful and thankful that You have called me Your own. May I always be a light in the darkness. May my hands touch and heal those in need. May my voice always offer hope and comfort to those who need a word in whatever season they may be walking through. May my life here not be wasted, but used for Your glory. This is my prayer that I offer to You this day. Thank You for hearing and answering. Amen.
