A PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO HEAR THE GOSPEL, BUT REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE MESSAGE

Many people hear the gospel but refuse to respond to the truth. This prayer is for them. Maybe they have bought into the lies of the culture, love the deeds of darkness, or adhere to a false religious system. No matter what the cause, they must respond to the truth or upon death they will meet their doom. No one desires that! Let’s pray with passion and call them to faith and repentance! The prayer below is a guideline for you to follow. Let it stir up passionate intercession for your lost loved ones, then share it with a friend or on your different social media platforms.

PRAYER:

Father, I pray for the people who hear the truth of the Gospel but never submit to its message. Give them the grace to see the truth and accept Your Lordship.  Break the spirit of antichrist over and within them that causes them to deny that Jesus is the Christ. Give them a personal understanding that Jesus is the revelation of God in the flesh (John 14:9). Make it irrefutable within their heart and mind that Jesus is the Messiah sent by the Father.  I ask that people everywhere will accept the Lordship of Jesus. Destroy the lie that says, “I can have the Father, but not the Son.” These lies may parade themselves as truth or pathways to spirituality, but they’re only lies fueled by the antichrist spirit. Destroy the deception that there are many pathways to the Father.  There’s one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ. Bring them to Christ through the power of His name, amen

1 JOHN 2:21-23, NIV:

“I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.”
