The farther we get from the Cross, the easier it is to forget the cost. We must never forget who paid the price.
Forgiveness is a gift from God. It is free to every single person who accepts it. However, this gift came at a cost. Sadly, the farther we get from the Cross, the easier it is to forget the cost. Jesus died so that those who believe in Him can live. While we can never earn the gift of salvation, our lives should be reflective of the gratefulness for His sacrifice.
