“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened at all, that it cannot save, nor His ear dull with deafness, that it cannot hear.” Isaiah 59:1
Recently, I heard the Lord whisper this verse in my ears as I awakened. He said, “TELL MY PEOPLE THAT I’M CLOSER TO THEM RIGHT NOW THAN THEIR NEXT BREATH!”
For many of you who are going through some incredibly difficult and hard times, the Lord is extremely attentive to where you are at. So many times we feel as though the heavens are like brass, closed up and distant, but the Word of the Lord is near to you, right now, right where you are at; regardless of your situation, your feelings, your circumstances, or the consequences you’re facing. He is near to you right now!
“Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me and the night shall be [the only] light about me,
Even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You.
Psalms 139:7-12
While the enemy is always attempting to steal, kill, and destroy in our lives, the Holy Spirit comes to give us life and that in an abundance! He comes with His Resurrection Power and His Resurrection Life, to not only reverse what the enemy has done in the past, but to also counter whatever the enemy is attempting to do currently.
Even in the hardest of situations, Jesus Christ has a long reach! You are never too far away that He can’t reach you! If you’re feeling like you have fallen out of His Sight or His reach today, DON’T YOU BELIEVE IT! You might reach what feels like one of His fingertips, but no one can take you out of His Hand!
