and You’ll always be
You sacrificed all, died, and gave up Your life
so that I could bear Your Name and live eternally with Thee.

You’re still my First Love
and daily we journey together side by side,
at morning’s first light, as my eyes begin to open
I hear You calling my name gently calling me to come with You to abide.

You’re still my First Love
even through every battle I’ve faced
and You’ve always equipped and empowered me in battle
and with Your arms I’m embraced!

You’re still my First Love
in the midst of all the chaos, the enemy tries to bring each day
You open my eyes to see clearly, and my ears are open to hear Your voice,
and Your Spirit enables me to obey.

You’re still my First Love
You’re all I’ll ever need
my heart longs to dwell in Your Presence and behold Your face
listening to Your heart and voice sitting at Your feet!

You’re still my First Love
and I’ll always seek more of Your Word
longing to take on Your Image and Truths
to become all that I see and all that I’ve heard.

You’re still my First Love
thank You for calling my name
from the first day I gave You my heart
it’s been a Love that’s only deepened and I’ve never been the same!

You’re still my First Love
and my Beloved Jesus You’ll be my last
I look forward to that soon coming Day
that I’ll be joined with You for all eternity
and we share our Beautiful Wedding Dance!
