Everyone loves to quote the verse (even me) out of Isaiah 53:5…
“But He was wounded for our transgressions He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needed to obtain peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him we are healed and made whole.”
We know that Jesus is Who is being talked about here and that He has paid for our healing totally and completely.
The thing of it is, many of us don’t understand the difference between a healing and a miracle.
Healing is something that must be obtained and walked out in your life. I think too often we believe that healing is an instantaneous thing; that the belief often becomes a lifestyle for the believer. I’m not in any way saying that God won’t give you an instantaneous healing, which is a miracle and not a healing at all. I have seen these over and over again as God’s Power has been released to those who have obtained their miracles in the past.
However, a healing is different, for it must be walked out once it’s obtained. The word for healing (most of the time) in the Greek is “therapeuo,” which means “to wait upon or to cure.” This gives a totally different understanding of what we have come to believe healing is.
Jesus Christ purchased a lifestyle of healing for His children with the stripes that He took upon His Back; otherwise, He never would have called healing, “the Children’s Bread.”
So often, over the years, I have been consistently healed over and over of many things as I have trusted the Lord for my complete restoration and some of those things I have been miraculously healed of, however many of the things that I have struggled with here I have been consistently “waiting upon” the manifestation of that healing for me and those around me.
Many healings that I have had personally have required me to alter my behaviors in order to maintain them, because some of the things that I was doing were hampering the actual complete manifestation of my healing, even blocking them at times. But once I aligned myself with what the Lord was saying, the healing manifested almost immediately.
Some of us need to adjust our terminology in the Spirit realm; instead of asking the Lord for healing and having to “WAIT UPON” it, we should be asking the Lord for Supernatural Miracles.
The Word Miracle in the Greek is the same Word for Miraculous Power “DUNAMIS”, it is the Power of God poured out and causing created miracles to take place! Instantaneous healings, replacement of body parts, cancers disappearing, organs in the body totally whole, broken bones instantly fixed, and the list goes on, anything outside of what we would call impossible in the natural realm.
GOD WANTS YOU WHOLE, NOT PARTIALLY WHOLE, BUT TOTALLY WHOLE! He wants you to be in health and prosper as your soul prospers, but you may need to adjust your life in the process. God wants us to align ourselves with the Truth of His Word over our lives, not just to declare it, but really align with it.
If you are constantly declaring God’s Word over your life, but you consistently use profanity, you may find your words powerless because your words are not in alignment with Heaven. Today is the day to begin to Supernaturally align yourself with the Holy Spirit.
Allow the Holy Spirit to change your mind, align your speech with His, and alter your actions and anything else that may not be in agreement with Him in your life. As you do this, your Healing will manifest quickly, and you’ll see the enemy of your soul in a place of constant defeat!
