Recently, I heard the Lord say, “In stillness you will find strength.” And I heard Isaiah 30:15 surrounding me:
“In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
I could feel the invitation in the spirit from the Lord’s heart into deeper places of trusting Him. There are many facing incredibly difficult circumstances and areas of their lives where they are being stretched and having to trust the Lord in a deeper way than they have before. And in that place, resting in Him, trusting Him, and being still before Him (Psalm 46:10), there is new strength awaiting them.
The word ‘stillness’ was so loud in the spirit when the Lord spoke it, so I leaned in and listened to what the Lord was speaking, and I heard:
“My people, eyes on Me! Eyes on Me! For I am bringing you deeper into the place of dependency upon Me, and I am calling you deeper into the place of trusting Me. Do not look to the left or to the right. Look to Me. Be not distracted by the amplifying noise that surrounds you, but come deep into stillness. Come deep into the quiet place with Me, shut out the noise of the world, close the doors, and come into the stillness of My presence and My Word.
For there is much fighting against your rest and fighting to take your peace. But I say unto you, that those who keep their minds stayed upon Me will be in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). And I say unto you, that I am bringing you into a deeper place of understanding the STILLNESS in the STANDING. I am bringing you into a deeper place of divine resolve to stand and wait for My deliverance and the move of My Spirit in your midst. For many of you are crying out, “I’ve done all I can do, Lord, I don’t know what else to do?” And I say unto you, that where you have come to the end of your own strength, now you shall see the power of My Spirit move on your behalf in ways that you have not yet seen.
There are many of you who are facing situations and circumstances that are troubling your heart, and I say unto you, cast your cares to Me for I care for you (1 Peter 5:7). Give not your heart, your minds, your ears, and your eyes to the troubles. Sow not into the places of anxiety and fear. Sow not into the anxiety and disruption that you feel in the atmosphere; stand against it and refuse to move from the wells of revelation of My nature that you have found in your intimacy with Me.
For I say unto you, remind yourself of who I am. Remind yourself of My faithfulness towards you. Remind yourself of the power of My Word and My truth, for I am the God who comes through for you. This is a time to arise and encourage yourselves in Me as David did (1 Sam 30:6). For I am causing you to arise in authority, strength, victory, and refreshment in My Spirit as you cultivate the place of faith in your life through being still before Me. For many of you have filled your ears with the noise of this world and the noise of circumstances through giving your ear to them and not remaining in stillness. Come deeper into stillness.
Fill yourselves with My Word and tell your soul to not despair. Speak to your soul to arise and hope in Me (Psalm 43:5), for there is great hope in Me. I am not a man that I should lie (Num 23:19), and I am moving in ways that you cannot yet see. Oh, the demonstration of My power and Glory that you shall see.
I say unto you, My people, that there are many that are running in busyness. There are many running building for Me. There are many being entangled in paces and rhythms that I am not breathing upon. My people, it is IMPERATIVE in this hour that you are remaining in a place of quietness and stillness before Me, to discern the difference between what you are building and what I am breathing upon. For I am breathing upon new ways. I am breathing upon new strategies.
For I say unto you, be still and KNOW that I am God (Psalm 46:10), and I am moving powerfully on your behalf. For I am bringing you deeper into the new rhythms of My grace, strength, and empowerment; but you must follow MY WAY. For I say unto you, I am delivering you, My people, from the things that have stolen your strength. I am discipling you in My unforced rhythms of grace and bringing you deeper into the places of rest in Me. (Matt 11:28-30)
I am silencing the striving in My presence as you come to Me and allow My Spirit to minister to you, heal you, and deliver you. I am delivering you from living in your own strength, and I am causing you to awaken in greater ways to your need of Me. I am revealing to you, My people, how limited your strength is – and how great and vast My power and strength is. I am bringing you deeper into the place of recognising in greater ways the magnitude of My empowerment and MY strength. I have brought you to the end of your own strength to deliver you, to set you free, and to bring you into a place of seeing Me in greater ways and My love and heart for you; and that nothing is impossible for you.
For many of you are weary from living in your own strength. It’s time to repent and come into a place of empowered living by My Spirit on a level that you have not yet known. The enemy has fought hard in the last few seasons for many of you to keep you bound in your own strength and carrying so much. Your heart is tired. Come to Me, lay it all down in repentance, and allow Me to deliver you from the effects of running in striving for so long.
Come to me and take a true and deep rest, and trust Me. Know that I am for you and not against you (Rom 8:31). I am inviting you into a place of co-labouring with Me in your day-to-day lives, where you will see an empowerment of My Spirit flow in and through your lives – in these areas that you have been striving – that will bring you to life in Me and truly refresh your heart and soul.
As you wait upon Me, I am renewing your strength. You shall run and not be weary, you shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Come deeper into the place of stillness and trust in Me, and watch how I am bringing you into new realms of understanding My supernatural strength. I am awakening you in greater ways of your greatest place in Me – abiding – and that apart from Me, you can do nothing (John 15). I am bringing you into a greater realm of walking empowered by My Spirit and living the faith-rested life as you commune with Me and trust Me.”
