God is indeed calling us forward to be that spotless, pure, righteous Bride of Christ. He’s doing this Himself.
If your relationship with God is based upon anything besides that one truth, “Follow Jesus”, then you do not have a relationship with God.
Now we learn to love God deeper than ever before. To let Him engulf us in His Love
so that those around us (whether they agree with us or not) know that they are important.
The world is hungry for the revival inside of us, we must capitulate the mandate and broadcast this wonderful news.
As Christians living in a world kind of slipping off the edge, joy is perhaps the hardest emotion to readily access and yet the most needed.
Being able to do the things that are described in these three verses does, indeed, require us to love. It might be impossible otherwise.

Knowing that God is present in our hurts and trials makes all the difference in our hurts and trials.

Jesus was always about love. But truth was never compromised in the meantime. This is the struggle that is plaguing our churches and, indeed, the world at large.
Most of my life, I have experienced a problem that many Christians (and most certainly the world) have when it comes to “feel-good” passages in the Bible. It’s what I call Dangerous Portions.
There are hills we cannot climb without Him. There are battles we cannot win alone. There are times we need His arms to reassure us. And decisions we should never make without His input.
I believe the Holy Spirit comes inside of us when we give God our lives through the forgiveness of sin via the blood of Christ and choose to walk in the path of change.
The people of God spent years in the difficult regions of the land. The desert, the rocky mountains, and hills. They did without. They went hungry. They had to rely upon God to take care of them. We run the same route.
The concept of sin didn’t even exist yet in the heart or mind of man. Adam was complete. But God gave one simple specification to Adam: do not eat from this particular tree.
But we must always remember that God never intended for us to live outside of the Garden.
When God promotes you, it’s not to achieve greater worldly success but greater Heavenly success. Joshua does as he is told. He gathers the leaders together and passes the order down.
Then new life begins to build. Suddenly, that dead person has become alive as never before.
You are spiritual by your very nature. Your heart seeks spiritual things…so your spiritual intake needs to be “heart healthy,” too!
This is far greater than a man taking control from another and leading the people into a great destiny. Much of what happens along the way is food for you and me.
Call me a zombie, the undead, the living, the whatever! But in my life, before all of this, I have never felt so alive.
