Holy Spirit spoke these words to me this morning.
THE SPIRIT OF THIS AGE.
Not the spirit of this world.
THE SPIRIT OF THIS AGE.
The spirit so many are giving themselves over to.
The spirit of a “progressive Christ”.
The spirit that tells you Jesus is a lamb, and not also a lion.
The spirit that tells you Jesus is mercy, but won’t also seek justice.
The spirit that says Jesus loves you, so He must tolerate your habitual sin.
The Jesus of a “universal Christ” is no Jesus at all.
The Jesus of “be who you are” is not Jesus – The Son of David.
He is not The God of Abram, Issac, and Jacob.
This is not The True Christ of God’s Written and Spoken Word.
He is not The Son of God.
This christ…is a false light.
Be “true to you” is a lie.
“To thine own self be true” is the very essence of Satanism.
This is the false Christ.
We are told – BE TRUE TO CHRIST.
We are told to crucify our flesh.
We are told to die to self.
I beg of you – through tears, fear, and trembling….
You are being deceived.
You have come under THE SPIRIT OF THIS AGE.
You have a god of your own creation.
Not of your own understanding.
Because many understand but choose not to follow.
I am speaking to you who have read The Word, but have rejected it for your own narrative.
I am speaking to those who have twisted scripture, making it appeal to their flesh.
I am speaking to the body who thinks grace is a safety net, and catch all for our sins.
I am speaking to US who have stopped being holy and set apart.
I am speaking to US who know better, but don’t choose to do better.
I am not speaking to “them”.
I’m not speaking to the lost.
I’m not speaking to the world.
I’m speaking to THE CHURCH.
The bride who no longer reads her Bible.
The bride who has turned her face from its reflection.
The bride who has strayed and lays in bed with THE SPIRIT OF THIS AGE.
I am speaking to the body who has allowed the oil to leak from their lamp.
This is my clarion call to COME HOME.
Jesus leaves the 99 for the 1.
But the 1 has free will.
If you choose to step off the side of a cliff, Jesus must let you.
He has given you that choice.
So at Holy Spirit’s prompting, this is my deep, painful, guttural cry…
BELOVED, STEP AWAY FROM THE CLIFF AND COME HOME!
