Every word that I receive from the Lord, I receive in prayer and intentional focused time with God, and he spoke something to me that made me excited about what is to come. I felt the Lord so strongly say, “My goodness is about to overtake you.” When I heard that, my spirit was immediately charged up, and then the Lord prompted me to recall the things I had been seeking him in prayer about.
I wrote down my top requests that I had been asking the Lord, and during the week, I began to see answers unfold to each one of those things. The song “Goodness of God” was on my heart, and as I listened to it, the Lord began to remind me of his goodness in my life and how it is a testimony of faithfulness for my family and I. Friends, the goodness of God is about to become so evident in your life, and it is going to quite literally overtake you.
If you are wondering how to attract the goodness of God in your life, it starts with following and applying the principles of God in your life and being obedient to every word the Lord says. The Bible is a book of principles, and principles are never broken. If you can learn how to apply the principles of God to your life, your life will be overtaken by the goodness of God.
Life was never meant to be a struggle; it was meant to be jam-packed full of joy, peace, goodness, and every good thing the Bible talks about. A lot of people are missing out on these things because they fail to apply the principles of the Bible. Reading and applying are two separate things; they require action. James 2:26 tells us that faith without works is dead; just the same, if you don’t take action toward what you have read, you won’t reap that fruit. If you want to reap the fruit of the goodness of God, you must become faithful in the word of God and apply it.
The goodness of God isn’t just a blessing for us, but it also gives way for us to bless others. When the goodness of God overtakes your life, don’t become selfish, only desiring that you increase, but freely give as Christ freely gave to us. Another way to constantly see the goodness of God manifest in your life is: be a revolving door of sowing, giving, and blessing. The law of sowing and reaping applies to the goodness of God. The more you sow, the more you reap. Don’t be selfish with what the Lord has blessed you with, but instead find good, fertile soil to sow into. Sowing doesn’t have to just be material things like finances, but you can sow spiritual things as well. For example, if you sow your time and wisdom into people, you will reap wise counsel in your own life. See, the law of sowing and reaping applies to everything!
Start preparing to steward abundant blessings and for the sheer goodness of God to radically manifest in your life. Expand your capacity in this season to receive to the max everything the Lord is pouring out: his goodness, joy, peace, and God opportunities. Inspect what you expect and evaluate what you are asking God for, so that you will be ready to steward your breakthrough. These next 90 days are going to be the best 90 days of your life if you stay rooted and grounded in the word of God and its principles.
