The skies are bright not with Christmas lights
but with the Glory of The Son,
His Divine birth gave us worth
now we’re forever joined as one.
Where He laid was not all glitz and glamour
you see His bed was made of straw in a manger,
yet His value and worth secured our place
to sit with Him daily face to face.
Though some may see a lowly start
miraculous things happen when you invite Him into your heart,
He’s already paved the way for you and me
that we together may be with Him eternally!
No longer hiding in worldly shame
no longer wandering without a name,
for we’ve been called and chosen by Him
from before we were born He abides within.
There’s a place in our heart that’s for Him alone
it’s not able to be filled with anything else known,
once you open your heart and surrender to His will
it’s then that all of Himself to you, He’ll fill.
Don’t think that you are of little worth
when it’s because of you that we have His birth,
yes, you yourself were part of His plan
He longs for you to be with Him in the Promised land.
So when you look and reflect on His birth
take time to reflect on how much you’re worth,
He loves you so much more than you know
and longs to teach you and help you to grow.
To sit with you daily face-to-face
to fill you with Love and His Grace,
to heal you and strengthen you for all you do
to show you who you are and how He sees you.
So take time to give thanks this season
knowing His birth had a reason,
He came to bring us Home forever
no longer separated, always together!
