I was so excited to get to interview Lee Nienhuis and she did not disappoint! I felt like we were kindred spirits. Lee has written two books, Brave Mom, Brave Kids, and her most recent book is Counter-Cultural Parenting.

She has a passion to encourage moms to be brave in praying for their kids to be warriors for Christ, even when you know that means a warrior must fight battles. She talks about how she realized that one day while she was praying and shares how she was able to overcome that fear and become a brave mom. Lee knows that Satan can use our fear as a weapon against us. He wants nothing more than for us to live in fear and complacency because that will never lead to being effective for Christ. I know this episode with Lee will inspire you to become the brave mom God has called you to be, as well as who your kids need you to be.
