Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession; He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was in all His house.

Hebrews 3:1-2 (NASB1995)

The first instalment of Our Apostle and High Priest was posted yesterday. This second instalment comes after speaking on Hebrews 3:1-2 at the Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship Bible Study. The video of the Bible study can be viewed HERE.

It is an amazing thought that where before two men were required to serve in the tabernacle, now our Lord Jesus fulfills both roles in a most holy way, far better than any men of the past. Moses and Aaron were great men of God, but they were only men compared to the Son of God. Indeed, it was Him as God whom they served and set the precedent for His future. He truly is our Apostle and High Priest in the Gloryland.

Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
Hebrews 10:19-23
