Navigating Treacherous Headwinds

Tempered by stormy lessons, we regain our footing.

Posted on

Cleansed from sinful ways, weights lifted, we rejoice
Giving ourselves freely to new ways, we give praise
Renewed in thinking, we embrace all coming our way.
In the joy of the Lord, we obey and delight in His ways.

Facing headwinds with unbridled ferocity, we struggle.
Appearing without notice, we get caught in the tempest.
Testing our unbridled ferocity, we get blown off course.
Caught off guard, giving ear to former voices, we veer.

Understanding the peril of rocky soil, we take heart.
Hardness unleashed with fury; we reach for an anchor.
Putting our hope in the anchor, we endure with joy.
Holding us steady, we ride out the storm with peace.

Tempered by stormy lessons, we regain our footing.
Giving praise to Him, who holds steady, we rejoice.
Knowing more headwinds are ahead, we dig deeper.
Taking opportunity, we give ourselves to His word.

Immersing in His vision and purpose, we prepare.
Enduring whatever comes our way, we anticipate.
Desiring to be His vessels, we wholeheartedly commit.
Planted in good soil, anointing releases abundantly.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:1,3
