I’ll Draw Close

I choose to abide.

Posted on

Draw me close

to Your side,

for it’s there

I choose to abide.

Draw me close

let me stay in the center of Your heart,

let us be forever intertwined

always together, never apart.

Draw me close

it’s Your voice I need to hear,

and in Your Presence

I need to feel near.

Draw me close

with just a whispered call,

Lord, I give You my heart

I surrender to You my all.

I’ll draw close

each time You beckon to me,

there’s no other place

that I’d rather be.

I’ll draw close

both night and day,

for I crave to sit at Your feet

to hear all that You would say.

I’ll draw close

for above all, I long for You,

to bring You joy and honor

in each step I take and in all that I do.

I’ll draw close

giving thanks unto You,

for leading and guiding me

in all that You’ve called me to do.

I’ll draw close

and treasure our time, just You and me,

there are no words that can convey

how thankful my heart is that I belong to THEE!!!

Psalm 73:28

But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge and placed my trust in Him, That I may tell of all Your works.

James 4:8a

Come close to God, and God will come close to you.
