Another Line In the Sand

You who are on the wrong side must cross it, never to return.

“I have drawn a line in the sand!” says the LORD.

“So far but no further!

You who are on the wrong side must cross it, never to return.

You who are this side of it must never cross it again.

Do not test Me on this!” says God.

“Rather walk in the fear of crossing it and missing out on My blessing!”

I asked what the line marked and what blessing we could miss.

“There is a level of purity, of integrity, of thought, word, and deed, that you need to adhere to.

Your enemy is no fool, and he will spot a weak link very easily. He will harass and oppress and subvert you if you are a weak link.

He will pick you off like a sniper, and you will be hurt — even too damaged to return to the front line!”

I thought this was strong language and perhaps even a little harsh, but the LORD interrupted my thoughts.

“An army marches at the pace of the slowest soldier. It is weakest at the point of the least fit in the line of defense.

The enemy seeks only to kill and destroy, and to resist him, My Army must have attained a level of holiness.

My Blessings for those prepared to pay that price are peace, abundance, and health.

All who follow Me can do this — just ask My Holy Spirit and He will lead you.

Whatever you do, get to the right side of the line.

It’s your decision!”

That’s the bottom line!
