One of the many things that I have learned over the years is that there are times when I am to pray about a situation and there are times when I am to Declare the Answer over the situation. There are times for Prayer and Petition and there are times for Submission and Declaration.
Sometimes we can pray ourselves right into a place of unbelief, where we didn’t believe that God heard us the first time we spoke. Of course, we know that’s not true, for His ear is always open to us as we stay in a place of right relationship with Him, but depending upon our circumstances, it may seem daunting. So we think if we pray more it will ensure that we receive, when what He is really telling us to do is to make a Declaration of the Answer to our problem, instead of constantly praying the problem itself.
“But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. FOR WHOEVER WOULD COME NEAR TO GOD MUST [necessarily] BELIEVE THAT GOD EXISTS AND THAT HE IS THE REWARDED OF THOSE WHO EARNESTLY AND DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM [out].” Hebrews 11:6
Moses was faced with one of these situations, only in his case he was confronted by a Sea in front and 600 chariots behind. It seemed totally hopeless, so he cried out to God, but God’s Response was interesting:
“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.
THE LORD SAID TO MOSES, WHY DO YOU CRY TO ME? TELL THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL TO GO FORWARD! Lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, and the Israelites shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” Exodus 14:14-16
THERE ARE TIMES WHEN PRAYER STOPS AND DECLARATION STARTS and we move forward in faith that God is going to do what He said He would do. For some of you, God has gone before you and leveled the Mountains, and made the crooked places straight, but you’re not moving forward into it. Forward movement, with Declaration, after Prayer is often necessary if we are to see God move on our behalf.
“This is the confidence which we have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him.” 1 John 5:14-15
We need to know when to Pray and when to move forward in Declaration.
“For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer, BELIEVE [with confident trust] THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED THEM, AND THEY WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU.” Mark 11:24
If this resonates, Pray, believe you receive, and move in accordance with your prayer. If we are asking according to His Will, He has already gone before us Family, believe you receive, and CONTINUE TO DECLARE UNTIL YOU SEE IT MANIFEST.
As Moses raised his staff in obedience and had Israel start moving forward the Sea Divided. He made the declaration, moved in obedience, and the waters parted. I’m not saying don’t pray, I’M SAYING PRAY AND OBEY! If you have received your answer, move forward on it, as you do you will see the Supernatural Manifestation of what you prayed take place.
It’s time to Trust the Lord, that what He said to you, He will perform it! Pray and move forward as the Holy Spirit prompts and watch the manifestation unfold in front of your eyes.
WE BELIEVE AND RECEIVE, FATHER IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME! Amen!
