I have been mulling over and praying about a dream that I had on the first day of Sukkot. The dream was very simple, and yet I didn’t want to miss what I felt the Lord was saying. I truly didn’t feel I needed to share, but I kept feeling the Lord encourage me to speak this out prophetically.
Sukkot is a week-long celebration, and on the very first full day (October 10), I dreamt of a yellow Porche. It looked like a 911, and it had a large back window allowing me to peer in and see clearly. As the Porche came around a corner right in front of me, I looked forward into the back window, and I could see our President (#45). His hair was flying in the wind and he was full of great joy. Another name for Sukkot is “Season of our Joy.”
What struck me were two things. He was driving, and I thought… shouldn’t someone be driving our President? But he was driving this car.
And the second thing that stood out to me was his joy. I saw him throw his head back and laugh, driving so carefree and bumbling about, almost like you see in cartoons where the car hits rocks and objects but keeps on going, staying on the path with such joy.
Job 8:20-22
“There’s no way that God will reject a good person, and there is no way he’ll help a bad one. God will let you laugh again; you’ll raise the roof with shouts of joy, With your enemies thoroughly discredited, their house of cards collapsed.”
I felt the Lord lead me to Amos 9:11-15. This part of Amos is such a prophetic picture of God’s redemptive plan for His people. I felt that through the hardships and sifting (as a nation), we are going through the process of an awakening so that the new can be brought forth. Old systems have been shaking and breaking for God’s better ways to come forth. Who can put new wine into an old wineskin? It’s out with the old and into the new. We are headed straight into a time of rebuilding the ruins (Isaiah 61). This is God’s heart, but we know that it doesn’t happen automatically. It takes our agreement and faith put into action.
I felt Holy Spirit say, as a nation, we are turning the corner. We are on the fast track. Will we call heaven forth at this time? It’s no time to look back. The President is in the driver’s seat. He carries no defeat. We will see much clearer because the window is opening for God’s people to see what’s truly happening and help bring about the needed change.
God is righting wrongs so that, as a nation, we can move forward in victory and fullness of joy as we decree His plans! It’s a time of recompense in every way.
It’s truly a moment to stand and see the great thing which our Lord will do before our eyes. But I also felt that as we stand, to call forth and decree what we see.
Job 22:28 NASB
“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways.”
If God is wanting to highlight something to you, He will open it up and show you so that you can decree it and receive it for your nation.
Amos 9:11-15 The Message
“But also on that Judgment Day I will restore David’s house that has fallen to pieces. I’ll repair the holes in the roof, replace the broken windows, fix it up like new. David’s people will be strong again and seize what’s left of enemy Edom, plus everyone else under my sovereign judgment.” God’s Decree. He will do this. “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel: “They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them. God, your God, says so.”
