Jesus sacrificed His holiness to be the offering to cleanse our soul.

There is no greater love than that

which our Blessed Savior has shown

There is no love that will ever compare

to the love that He’s made known

There is no greater love

that will ever be more pure or true

than Jesus trading His righteousness

so that He could give it to you

Jesus loves you more than most ever will or can

The proof is in the bloodshed of this Holy, Holy Man

He proved His undying love for every single soul

as He hung in our place, nailed to a wooden pole

Because of His love, Jesus stood in our place

making our sins His own as He extended His grace

With open arms His selfless love calls all to be embraced

as He gave up His Divine privileges and took the position of a slave

Jesus, who never sinned became the offering for all mankind

so that we could become righteous through His holy sacrifice

His precious blood; His liquid love, was shed for every man

so that we could become new and be made right through Him

Jesus removed the barrier

He tore the veil; He opened up the gate

Jesus gives us new life

as He washes our unrighteousness away

Jesus sacrificed His holiness

to be the offering to cleanse our soul

as He willingly accepted His Father’s will

trading His life for ours upon a post!

“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 NLT

About the Author

Debbie always had a desire to write a book, but didn’t have a clue as to what the content could be. Children’s books and short stories piqued her interest most. She had dabbled with writing family-oriented poems, off and on over the years, but became overwhelmed with a hunger to write about God and His love in her late fifties. She started seeing God everywhere she looked whether it was in a deck of cards, movie titles, nursery rhymes, popular sayings, flower petals, or a baseball game. She finally realized that prophecy was being fulfilled when one of her sons told her that her poetry glorified God and was meant to be shared. The Lord’s words from an encounter in 2011 immediately returned to her. She had found her own way to speak about God just like He told her she would. Debbie is sharing her poetry in hopes that it will nourish and strengthen souls for the Kingdom of God. She refers to her poetic style as floetry, as it is the move of the Holy Spirit flowing from her heart to another. Her desire to flood the prisons with her book is due to God’s belief in her, and in her belief that no one can cast the first stone, but that everyone can help someone who is in desperate need of a Savior.
