Vision
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14, NLT
When I think about the future, I imagine eternity and hope and pray that I’ve accomplished what God intended for me to do so that wounded souls are healed and lost souls surrender their lives to their Savior and King.
Mission
I have been sending my poetry to loved ones within the prison system for several years now. The Holy Spirit laid it on the heart of one of these individuals, His servant James, to read a poem or two that went along with what he was teaching when he ministered to the men. As a result of James’ obedience, hundreds of men have either rededicated or surrendered their lives to Jesus. It warms my heart to know that people can hear the Holy Spirit speak through me. I am beyond honored and consider it the greatest privilege that God has entrusted me to be a spokesperson for Him in this way.
I believe that everyone deserves to know they can be forgiven for their past and that they are loved beyond measure. None of us can cast the first stone, but we can all bring hope to those who are obviously hurting and in desperate need of a Savior. We can all be fishers of men, pulling them up from the depths of deceit by leading them to the only One who can make them whole and set them free.
The Holy Spirit has laid it on my heart to get more of my books behind bars and has also given me the idea of a fundraiser to achieve this. More information can be found via the following link:

Wouldn’t it be amazing if the book you help send ends up in the hands of an individual who accepts Jesus as their Savior and Lord?! Can you imagine the impact there would be if only we worked together? It’s all for His glory!

About Debbie Andrews Smith
And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” — 1 John 5:15, NLT
Debbie married the boy who lived next door—through their five children, their family currently stands at 19. She enjoys watching her grandchildren grow and spending time with family and friends.
One of her favorite things is collecting coins, but her collection stems from finding coins in parking lots, roads, driveways, etcetera. She can’t let something with God’s name on it be left on the ground! The more beat up the coins are when she finds them, the more excited she gets. It’s a reminder to her that God sees the person who has been stepped on, looked over, and left for worthless and that He also redeems the filthy, marred, rough, and broken to become new in Him. It brings her such joy when she finds them. She smiles, picks them up, and says, “In God I trust!”
Debbie’s passion and love for God are not only evident in her life but carried over in her writing as well. She hurts for those who are in bondage, living in deceit, and doesn’t know the love and forgiveness of their Savior. She channels her concerns in a genuine and heartfelt style of poetry that brings forth truth, hope, and healing into the depth of one’s heart and soul.
I find it comforting that my name in Hebrew means “bee.” There would be no greater honor than to pollinate hearts and souls for the Kingdom of God.” — Debbie
