Swiftly

Your watchful eye ever looking each time I kneel to pray.

Posted on

Swiftly You come near at the sound of my voice,
whenever You hear me call,
letting me know that I’m in Your sight
and You won’t ever let me fall.

Swiftly as the rushing waters
You send the answers on the way,
Your watchful eye ever looking
each time I kneel to pray.

Swiftly and without hesitation
You draw near to our “secret place,”
just as I long for You
You long also to sit face to face.

Swiftly You come to listen and hear
if daily I’ll speak Your Name.
Today will I open up and testify
share all that You’ve done and boldly proclaim,
how You’ve changed my life and I’m not the same?

Am I as swift to answer Your call
do I leave everything behind to give You my all?
Do I surrender everything on the altar to You,
knowing that You have held nothing back but have given me all of You?

Are my feet swift to go to our “meeting place”
where we enjoy each other face to face?
Does my heart hunger to hear Your voice?
In my heart and my life are You still my first choice?

Holy Spirit help me to always stay
in a spirit of praise, and worship and to pray.
Let my feet stay always on His path,
no matter how long this earthly journey may last.

May the Words I write and share impart
the Love that pours forth from The Father’s heart.
May they draw others to want to know Him more,
and may His anointing oil on them pour.

May they be ignited by His Holy Desire,
may what’s inside them be birthed a Holy fire.
A passion and desire to share with all
that we each have been chosen and have a call.

Holy Lord, I swiftly come
and bow before The Holy Son,
to pledge my life once again
as this new day of our journey begins.

John 6:37
All that My Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, never reject anyone who follows Me].

Hebrews 10:37
FOR YET IN A VERY LITTLE WHILE, HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME, AND WILL NOT DELAY.

Isaiah 55:1
“Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God].
