You’re My Song

I sense Your peace, You calm me down.

Posted on

Time comes crashing to the shore.
There’s much to do outside my door,
But as I choose to know You more,
Your voice is clear, above the roar.

Though storm clouds loom
And fears abound,
I sense Your peace;
You calm me down.

Jesus, precious friend of mine.
That’s where I choose
To feast and dine

Upon Your love as I recline
And know You more
As You remind
Me that I belong
‘Cause You’re my song.

I’ll sing it loud
Above the crowd
And tell the world
They need You now.

You’re one with me.
We’re tried and true.
I pull away
And talk to You.

You hold my hand
And let me know
It’s almost time
That we should go.

We’ll walk outside
I’ll hum Your tune
So others know
There’s always room

For just one more.
He died for you
‘Cause you’re the one
He’s searching for!

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16-17

“You are My witnesses, ‘declares the Lord. ‘And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He…’” Isaiah 43:10
