Your Inheritance

He had you in mind
When He died on that cross.
He loved you back then
With all of your flaws.

But He made a way
To redeem and make new
At the time He was dying
And thinking about you.

You’re valued, you’re loved—
Jesus took all your sin.
You were bought with a price,
And you’re now born again!

You’ve an inheritance so sure
That will not fade away—
Your reservation is kept
For that glorious day!

Oh, He keeps His Word
With a sure guarantee,
And His promises are true—
Meant to set your heart free.

His purpose is you
And it’s you He pursues.
Your inheritance is free
‘Cause His blood paid your dues.

He is the path
Because He is the Way,
And His deepest desire
Is to share all your days.

A joint heir with Jesus—
Oh yes, it is true!
God gifted His love
And sent Jesus to you!

“Also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will.” Ephesians 1:11

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” Ephesians 1:18

“And if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.” Romans 8:17
