Your Axe Head Will Rise and Be Restored-Miracles are Coming Your Way

Declare that you will rise and once again be used to expand His Kingdom.

The Lord gave me this word in November of 2023. I was reminded of it and felt the urgency by the Spirit to release it again. I heard,

“Tell my people to decree it again.”

After receiving this word last year my husband and I miraculously had a large debt paid off. It was something borrowed that we were able to pay back. Receive this word and decree that your miracle will come!

In 2 Kings 6:1-7, we read the story of when Elisha miraculously recovered the iron axe head that had fallen into the water and sunk. One of Elisha’s disciples had borrowed the axe, and while cutting down a tree to make a broadened place for Elisha and his disciples to dwell, the axe head came loose and fell into the water. His disciple became panicked and cried out because the axe had been borrowed. Elisha asked him where it fell into the water and the man showed him. Elisha then threw a stick into the water where it had sunk, and suddenly the axe head floated to the surface and was recovered.

The Lord brought this story to my mind today and said to me, “Tell My people that things that have been lost will suddenly be recovered.”

Some of you have been busy working in a place that the Lord directed you to go, but lost significant tools and resources that you needed to carry out the assignment. Some of you have debts that are unpaid due to circumstances that were beyond your control.

Some of you feel like you are that axe head—sunk and lost. You even wonder if you will ever be useful for His Kingdom again.

The Lord wants you to look at the place where loss occurred (possibly even revisit that place) and throw your declaration of faith in that very spot.

Declare that what was lost will be restored. Declare that provision will come so that you will no longer be indebted to another. Declare that you will rise and once again be used to expand His Kingdom.

Elisha used a stick or a piece of wood to be the symbol of recovery—which restored the axe head to the wooden axe handle. We see throughout the Scriptures God uses “sticks” of some sort to perform miracles. Moses used a stick or wooden staff to perform the miracles that set the Israelites free from their captivity in Egypt—including parting the Red Sea so that the Israelites could be delivered from their enemies. Two sticks were joined together to bring about the reconciliation and restoration of Judah and Israel (see Ezekiel 37)—bringing forth one people who worshiped one God. Finally, our Savior was crucified on two cut pieces of wood, making a way for the restoration of men to God.

It is time to throw your stick of faith onto the surface of the water where your dreams sank, your resources were lost, or where you sank and were lost.
