While We Have Breath

When I see someone in distress, I am reminded of my dependence upon the Eternal One.

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
Psalm 150:6 (NASB)

We take many things in life for granted, such as being able to breathe freely. In a heated moment, we may say things such as “Over my dead body!” or “Not while I have breath in my body!” In such sayings, we take life and breath for granted. Recently I have seen some dear ones finding breathing very difficult, it is a humbling reminder of our fragile existence on this earth.

When I see someone in distress fighting for each breath, I am reminded of my dependence upon the Eternal One on whom my life depends here and in the life to come. I am also reassured to know that my dear ones know Him who holds their tomorrows.

Dear Reader, do you know Him who holds your life in His hands? If you do know Him, Hallelujah! Let us take every opportunity and breath, while we have them, to praise our Lord and Savior.

You can find out more about peace with God HERE.
