This walk with Jesus is beautiful, but not easy.
No.
Definitely not easy.
Some roads lead to the mountaintop.
Some lead to the valley.
Some roads will be pleasant.
Some will be hard.
Some will be lonely.
Some will be very, very lonely.
Some roads seem impossible…
and they are, in your own strength.
All these roads are critical.
All are by design.
Not all challenges are from the enemy.
So often, we try to bind, rebuke, and break what the Lord Himself is doing.
It’s not always an attack, beloved.
And it’s impossible to fight against God.
It’s part of our growth.
It’s being put in the fire so He can skim off the dross.
It’s going back on the potter’s wheel to be formed again into our original design.
It’s us being conformed more into the image and likeness of Christ.
Easy?
No, beloved. Not easy.
To take me from who I was to who the Lord created me to be is anything but easy.
This isn’t easy.
We aren’t promised easy.
We are promised Christ.
Some roads will challenge you.
Some roads will stretch you.
Some roads will break you.
The breaking is important.
Don’t try to avoid the breaking.
It’s what produces the most fragrant oil.
When Mary brought her oil to the Lord, she had to break the vessel open.
There was no top or spout.
The vessel had to be broken.
Mary’s oil cost her…everything.
This isn’t a holiday, beloved.
It’s a battle for souls.
There are many roads on this walk with Jesus, but only one way to the Father.
Walk with The Way.
Embrace the road you’re on with Him today.
He has a plan.
This road was created with purpose.
Keep going.
