Over the last 20 years, I have found myself amazed that One Touch or One Word from God can permanently alter a life.
Over this last month or so, I saw the Lord do this multiple times as a Word of Knowledge or a Prophetic touch from the Holy Spirit began to transform people’s lives right in front of me.
It’s not about the vessel that’s being used, but it’s about the Transforming Power of a single Word from the mouth of the Father touched with the power of the Holy Ghost. However, being the vessel that the Lord chooses to use is an incredible honor.
There is nothing like being able to watch as the Father breathes life into one of His Sons or Daughters through a single word that He uses to address the issues of their heart. He is so into touching the Hearts of His people!
If only we would step out and be obedient when He tells us to more often, we would see this world change before our eyes. I could teach and preach through my intellect and all of the things that I think I understand and know all day, but it’s only through surrendering to the power of the Holy Spirit that I (or anyone else) really have an impact on anyone.
“And my the language and my message were not set forth in persuasive words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the holy spirit and power so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of man but in the power of God” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
I would rather say 2 or 3 words by the Spirit of God than 1000 words with my mind and intellect. While there is nothing wrong with teaching and preaching, I have learned that the only One Who can Truly change your life in a permanent way is The Holy Spirit!
He is the Ultimate Life Changer, Alterer, Fixer, Repairer, Replacer, and Restoration Expert for us that there is! So if we can learn to Hear His Voice, and become His Voice to those around us, He (through us) will transform our world! He will alter your situation for you!
Speak the Word, Declare the Word, Live the Word, Breathe, and Partake of the Word as if it is your Daily Bread, and then watch Him Use it to transform your life and the lives of others around you!
