The Thief of God’s Goodness

The Church has been assigned to bring reformation to our cities and the nation.

Looking across our nation, it’s not difficult to see the cities and states where the devil is in control of politics. It is bearing increasingly bad fruit.

God has another plan that is opposed by those who currently occupy seats of power. God’s plan is to reveal His goodness and bring stability to cities where He is allowed to reveal His truth, protecting and setting free those who are living in the grip of unrestrained evil and its resulting chaos.

The “fruit” of the devil’s work is what he will produce where he is allowed to do his work without restraint. John wrote, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

The devil is a thief and a destroyer. He steals people’s destinies, kills those who oppose his dark agenda, and destroys all that is good.

Jesus manifests results that are the opposite of what the devil brings. Hell will bring havoc, chaos, and suffering. The results of God’s presence are sourced from a different Kingdom.

The Lord will give people hope-filled destinies. He will protect the innocent and promote what is good, even when people cannot yet see His goodness at work and will resort to extreme measures, including violence, to thwart the implementation of God’s goodness.

In the massive pool of news reporting we have available today, the evidence of what is happening in these cities does not lie. Jesus came that we might have a good life and have it more abundantly. Anything less is not the will of God.

The Church has been assigned to bring reformation to our cities and the nation. This will be an evidence-based reformation. To ignore the evidence of the devil’s work will lead us down the dark alleys of social collapse.

To follow the Lord and reveal His goodness will lead our cities and the nation into a cultural reformation that was not realized when evil seemed to be gaining more ground with each passing day. A future crafted by God’s goodness will bring a message of hope, not despair.
