Those of us who’ve spent years in the retail industry will understand what time of day it is when I mention the Swing Shift. Because of my years at Walmart, I understand all too well that this shift is usually the most undesirable shift to work.
The Swing shift is usually between 4 pm and midnight somewhere, while the night shift is from midnight until morning. Recently, I heard the Holy Spirit declare that we’ve been doing the Spiritual Swing Shift currently for quite a while now, but Night is Coming very soon, so we must be about Our Father’s Business!
“We must work the works of Him Who sent Me and be busy with His business WHILE IT IS DAYLIGHT; NIGHT IS COMING ON, WHEN NO MAN CAN WORK.
As long as I am in the world, I am the world’s Light.” John 9:4-5
While in the timelines things are winding down to the place where darkness is covering the earth and dense darkness the people (Night time), something is going to happen to the Light as the end of the Age approaches…
“Arise! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you.
And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3
While the approach of the end of the Age is upon us, we are seeing many of God’s Generals from the Swing Shift generation going home to be with the Lord, and there’s a transition from the Swing Shift to the Night Shift.
So while the night is a place where no MAN can work, it is a Place where the Son of God can beam the Light of His Presence and Power into the atmosphere of the darkness itself, and this generation of God’s Sons and Daughters will get to be those Bright Lights in the dark world, which will bring forth the greatest harvest of souls that world have ever seen since the beginning of creation itself.
“That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], AMONG WHOM YOU ARE SEEN AS BRIGHT LIGHTS IN THE [DARK] WORLD,” Philippians 2:15
While the last generation still maintained a little bit of daylight (ability to work with their own abilities instead of His exclusively) while they were here, the Night Shift saints will have to rely upon the Holy Spirit’s Presence and Power for all of the Light that they have, so that they can continue the work of the Lord until this age ends and the Church is either raptured or until Jesus Christ returns.
The only Light that anyone will be able to work by (in the Spirit Realm) will be by the Light of the Holy Spirit of God! While our own abilities to teach, preach, and minister were usable during the Swing Shift, during the Night Shift, those abilities will be completely empty!
Dead works won’t work, but the Light of the Holy Spirit will become so Bright upon His Sons and Daughters during the Night Shift that multitudes will gather around the Light of Those Burning With the Holy Spirit, serving the Lord’s interests in the place of their own!
“Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.” Romans 12:11
If you want to become one of these Bright Lights, then it’s a total surrender to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in your life that’s necessary for that to happen! The Evidence of who the True Sons and Daughters of God are will become obvious as the Light of the Holy Spirit burning upon them and in them will be visible to all!
Are you the Light of the World, or are you walking by the Light of your own flames that you’ve ignited for yourself (Isaiah 50:11)? If the Holy Spirit lives in you, then it’s time for that Light to Shine as the end of this shift comes to a close! This is the Saints’ finest hour approaching! Don’t miss your opportunity, Sons and Daughters!
