I am amazed at how so many Christians really do not understand the Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ or why His Blood carries the Power that it does.
The Virgin birth of Jesus Christ didn’t just happen because God wanted to show humanity that a virgin could give birth to a Baby. The Virgin birth happened so that Jesus Christ wouldn’t have the inheritance of Adams’s sin.
Sin is passed through the Bloodline as evidenced by Romans:
“Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man, and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [[a]no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned.” Romans 5:12
In order for Jesus Christ to be a spotless sacrifice for us upon the Cross, He had to be from a different Bloodline entirely. Otherwise, He would have inherited Adam’s sin issue just like the rest of us did. That fact that He was born of a Virgin means that His Father really was God, not only figuratively but LITERALLY.
It is a well-known medical fact that your Blood actually comes from your father, not your mother, so even though Jesus Christ was born of a woman (Mary), His Blood came from His Father, which means that not only was His Blood not from this world (Just like His DNA wasn’t) but that His Blood cannot actually Die! So even though He died upon the Cross, His Life was in His Blood and still is!
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” Leviticus 17:11
“And to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and TO THE SPRINKLED BLOOD WHICH SPEAKS, a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance].” Hebrews 12:24
The devil knowing that Jesus Christ really was the Son of God (not just figuratively but in actuality), probably thought that if He killed Him, there would be nothing to stop him from ruling this world supremely forever. But the devil’s plan backfired! So now, instead of Fighting One Man in Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ has multiplied Himself by the Power of the Blood, the Cross, and the Holy Spirit into millions of Born Again believers who have been wreaking havoc upon the demonic realm ever since.
The Blood of Jesus Christ doesn’t just make an atonement for my life and my soul, It Empowers me to become Born of a New DNA through His Sacrifice upon the Cross! No longer bearing the image of the man of Sin, But bearing the Image of the Son of God Himself! You are being transformed by the renewing of your mind and the internal Reformation of the Holy Spirit upon the inside of your life!
“Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit [restoring the dead to life]. But it is not the spiritual life which came first, but the physical and then the spiritual. The first man [was] from out of earth, made of dust (earthly-minded); the second Man [is] the Lord from out of heaven. Now those who are made of the dust are like him who was first made of the dust (earthly-minded); and as is [the Man] from heaven, so also [are those] who are of heaven (heavenly-minded). AND JUST AS WE HAVE BORNE THE IMAGE [OF THE MAN] OF DUST, SO SHALL WE AND SO LET US ALSO BEAR THE IMAGE [OF THE MAN] OF HEAVEN.” 1 Corinthians 15:45-49
The Blood of Jesus Christ is a complete game changer that places the devil where he belongs, which is back underneath the feet of God’s People! It has given us Power, Dominion, and Supernatural Ability through the Holy Spirit because of our new Family Lineage.
“AND THE GOD OF PEACE WILL SOON CRUSH SATAN UNDER YOUR FEET. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with you.” Romans 16:20
This wasn’t a cheap Sacrifice! God the Father and Jesus Christ gave us the very best; shouldn’t we give Them everything we are in Return? I think it’s a better trade-off than you could ever imagine!
