While the enemy seems to be completely running rampant throughout our societies, the Holy Spirit is doing something behind the scenes that the enemy is completely unaware of, because He is working (building) the Kingdom of God upon the inside of God’s People in what many of us call the “Secret Place!”
There’s simply No One in all of God’s Creation who is more Powerful than the Holy Spirit! He not only carries all of the Power of the Godhead with Him, but He is capable of doing anything that the Word declares to come forth and then manifesting it Supernaturally into the sphere of the earth.
In the Beginning, it was the Spirit of God that was hovering over the waters waiting for the Word to be spoken so that He could spring into action, because once the Word was spoken (that never returns void Isaiah 55:11) His Power went forth creating everything that was declared Supernaturally.
“For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; ALL THINGS WERE CREATED AND EXIST THROUGH HIM [by His service, intervention] AND IN AND FOR HIM. And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together).” Colossians 1:16-17
When the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached there’s power that’s released into the atmosphere, because where the “Rhema” Word of God is there’s Power released!
“I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and YOU HAVE MAGNIFIED YOUR WORD ABOVE ALL YOUR NAME!” Psalms 138:2
There’s Power that is always attached to the Testimony of Jesus Christ and whenever He is Spoken somewhere there’s always Power attached to Him. So as we preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere we go, signs, wonders, and miracles should always follow, (not because of us but), because His Power is always attached to His Living Word.
“FOR THE WORD THAT GOD SPEAKS IS ALIVE AND FULL OF POWER [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the [g]breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
Those who Know Their God shall become strong and shall do exploits (Daniel 11:32)! To Know the Lord in the way that He wants us to is to not only have Knowledge OF the Word (Jesus Christ) but to allow ourselves to be Transformed INTO A LIVING WORD from the Lord Himself!
“My little children, for whom I am again suffering birth pangs until CHRIST IS COMPLETELY AND PERMANENTLY FORMED (molded) WITHIN YOU,” Galatians 4:19
In that “SECRET PLACE”, God’s Word is being written upon the hearts of those who are His, only instead of it being in the “Logos” form it is being Inscribed upon their hearts as “Rhema”! While the “Logos” could be described as something that was once said; the “Rhema” of God is described as a current Utterance from God’s Lips into a current situation that we’re seeing or experiencing.
God’s Power doesn’t have an expiration date attached to it, but when He speaks through His Word into our current circumstances, the Word now Has the Holy Spirits’ life attached to it and it becomes a NOW WORD as if He just currently declared it to you!
The Holy Spirit is currently Quickening the Word of God to each of us from that Secret Place of His Power, and as He does the Life of God is being released into those situations and circumstances on our behalf. So as the Holy Spirit continues to Transform my life from Glory to Glory in Christ Jesus, that transformation causes Power to be Released because of the Word Himself being formed upon the inside of my Life.
You and I are being Transformed by the Word, (Into the Word), which then causes us to speak that Word forth, releasing His Power over those who hear It (Him) allowing them to be changed as well! In essence, you are the Word that is also being made flesh once more inside of you right now!
Come Holy Spirit and continue to transform us Your power into a Manifestation of the Living Word so that we may touch the lives of millions of other people with Your Life, because it is the Spirit Who gives life while the Flesh Profits Nothing! (John 6:63)
