The Joy of Jesus – Part 3

Jesus specifically prayed in His last prayer while He was in the world for you to have His joy!

Posted on

Jesus walked in our shoes and well understands the difficulty of living from your heart, your spirit, in this fallen, broken Creation. At Creation, joy abounded and was mutually understood and shared. That is because Heaven and Earth were unified. We live this side of mankind’s fall, and joy is not understood at large. Joy is often contested and stolen. Most people have experienced so much pain in the arena of joy that they refuse to feel joy because it unlocks the feeling of the pain they’ve endured and still carry.

Beloved, allow Holy Spirit to wash these wounds against your joy and remove any warped joy with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, wash Your Beloved with Your living water and apply the healing oil. Beloved, receive His mercy within to heal these places.

Remember now, Beloved, that Jesus specifically prayed in His last prayer while He was in the world for you to have His joy! That word for world is the Greek “kosmos” which includes: the stars, the heavenly hosts, the world, the universe, the circle of the earth, the earth (Strong’s G2889, John 17:13, Blueletterbible.org).

Jesus is the Word who is living (John 1:1; Hebrews 4:12). All things came into being through Jesus (John 1:3). His blood secured your eternal life, as you believe and receive. His blood provided for the redemption of mankind and the reunification of all things in Heaven and on Earth, back to Eden and exceedingly better. This includes earth and the cosmos and its fall, as Jesus secured redemption with His blood from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8).

It was important that Jesus pray for you to receive His joy when He was in the world, the cosmos so that you could access and receive it with more ease. You grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and as you come into greater connection (union) with Him, you receive the knowledge, then the process, then the releasing (action) of the good works that Father pre-planned for you to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). At present, there is a spiritual war raging over mankind and Creation. It has already been finished in Jesus’ complete work. However, all things have not yet been brought under His governance and reunified in Him (1 Corinthians 15:25-28; Ephesians 1:10).

Wars and works, even good ones prepared by Father, can drain you. Joy sustains. Joy gives you strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Joy existed in Creation as the flow of life, unbroken, between Heaven and Earth, even before mankind existed on Earth.

As the last Adam who reconciled to Father what the first Adam caused to break, Jesus gives life to your spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45). He prayed that His joy would fill you to the full measure (John 17:13). He prayed for you to have His full joy when He was in Creation, in the cosmos, as the last Adam, to reopen that ancient path for you so you would not have to fight so hard to enter His rest to receive the joy He wants you to have. He prayed for you to have it in His last prayer because it is that important for the abundance of life He paid with His life for you to have.

Beloved, Jesus did everything on His part to ensure you receive His joy to the full with the least possible resistance for you to have to exert. It is part of the restoration of all things. It is part of the ancient paths which existed in Creation from its genesis.

Beloved, your part is to believe and receive the joy He did the hard work to give you. No longer allow the pain of what you’ve endured, or shame of what has happened to or through you, or guilt of your failures, or false humility or pride, or fear, or any other blockage to exclude you from your inheritance of joy in Jesus. Resolve now to surrender all these wounds and sins to the Lord Jesus Christ. Allow Him to apply His blood to wash these out of your spirit, soul, and body. Receive the divine exchange with Him. Open to receive the infusion of His joy through the reign of His magnificent grace (Romans 5:21).

The way you receive all the good gifts of your Heavenly Father, paid for by His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, is by faith through grace (Romans 5:2; Ephesians 3:8). You hear and come into agreement with the truth as it resonates in your spirit; that’s part of your faith. Another part of your faith is to take action based on your belief. The way you receive is when you place your faith on His gift – that’s an inner action — and He releases it to you through His reign of grace. Joy comes to you as His gift of grace, through the power of His grace, and in His governance of grace.

Beloved, I bless you to receive the great, good gift of the joy of Jesus and keep receiving until you are completely filled to the full with His eternal, everlasting, ever-flowing, effervescent joy that strengthens your entire spirit, soul, and body. Then, receive more – and keep receiving! Father, I ask for Your reign of grace to apply the right-ness of Your Son, Jesus, and His peace with His abundant, incorruptible life in their whole spirit, soul, and body so that they have the capacity to receive and expand in Your joy and grace from You to let it flow. I bless you, Beloved, to receive His joy by your faith through His grace and keep receiving it in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Say yes, Lord, I agree and receive. It is sealed and rear-guarded with His glory, amen.
