The Gathering Table

Sit right here beside your King.

Posted on

Gather here

From near and far

Come together

Just as you are.

Take your place

Around The Table

Make your way,

I know you’re able.

Sit right here

Beside your King

And with voices lifted

Begin to sing.

A song from your heart

That’s new

Rejoicing for this day,

Offered to you.

Let Him know

Just how much

You’re thankful for

His anointing touch.

The strength He gives you

Every day

As you walk boldly

On your way.

Feast with Him here

In this place

As lovingly He beholds

Your sweet face.

It’s time to dwell

And abide

Here with Him

Right at His side.

So come holy beautiful one

Don’t be late

Your place is here

Don’t make Him wait.

Though your journey here

Required the sword

Come beloved,

Feast on Your reward.

The Gathering Table

Is for all who will

Take the time to be

Expectant and still.

So come and join

With us today

As we come together

To eat, talk, and pray.
