Strike and keep striking… to stop now would be foolish! You’ve come too far to give up.
But I hear God say:
“Strike and keep striking… the ground is about to tear open in front of you, and rushing rivers are about to be released. I will come through for you! Don’t wait for the iron to get hot before you go… let your unwavering and unrelenting strikes of ‘YES LORD!’ make it HOT! Then your go will become instinctive!”
The word of the Lord for you today is:
“You have come into a shifting season where separation, consecration, and immediate obedience will be the key that unlocks heaven’s outpouring in all areas of your life! I have called you to unlock heaven’s outpouring… so keep striking! At just the right moment, it will succeed. You’re doing well… keep going… don’t stop… ‘He who promised is faithful’ and ‘He will complete what He has started.’ Don’t think it strange the huge opposition you are seeing. Don’t listen to the detractors, the critics, or those living without vision. For whatever reason, they’ve stopped striking and have already entered disobedience. They think that by holding you back, they can avoid being convicted themselves by My commands. Not you… you trust the Lord! DON’T STOP going for ME! DON’T STOP advancing for Me! STRIKE AGAIN!”
Have you not seen it… have you not noticed it… THE SEASON HAS COME where those who have been faithful and quietly advancing will SUDDENLY see God’s kingdom and promises established in every field where they have faithfully planted. Many have abandoned their fields and killed their seeds, but you must hold fast. Surely, like Shammah in 2 Samuel 23, when everyone ran away and forfeited their harvest, Shammah remained steadfast. Like Shammah, you too will see your harvest come in every field you have planted your feet, held your ground, and KNOW that no enemy will rob you of God’s promised crop. Strike and keep striking until the victory is complete!
Faith means we keep trusting God and DO NOT stop until we see every wall come down… every enemy defeated, and every lie cast down. When should you stop? Not now… WHEN THE LORD RETURNS, you can stop… but UNTIL THEN KEEP OCCUPYING… keep striking! There is so much more to inherit. Be faithful until the Lord’s return. [Luke 19:13] Keep going… breakthrough is here! Keep going… strongholds are coming down! If you don’t stop short this time… you will see total and complete victory. You will see a harvest like the world has never seen before!!!
In 2 Kings 13, Joash, the king of Israel, visited the prophet Elisha on his sickbed. The king was concerned about the battles ahead, so Elisha, by means of a prophetic action, assured the king that God was still very much interested in giving them the victory they so desperately needed. First, he told Joash to shoot an arrow out the east window. This was an ancient custom for kings or leaders to shoot an arrow into the land they intended to take as new territory. When Joash did this, Elisha declared: This is the “arrow of the LORD’s victory.” Next, Elisha told the king to take more arrows from his quiver and strike the ground with them. (“Strike the ground”; so, he struck three times and stopped.” [2 Kings 13:18])
The king struck the ground… but only three times; his half-hearted response upset the prophet. Sadly, the king heard Elisha say these words: You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated and completely destroyed your enemy, but now you will defeat them… but only defeat them three times” (2 Kings 13:19). In other words, your half-hearted response will ONLY allow you to win some battles, but you will not win the war!
How often do we do the same thing?
We do what God told us two or three times, and then we stop. We serve God faithfully for a couple of years in one place or the other… then we move on… even though the promise of God is not yet fulfilled. We try to take new territory two or three times… and because it does not happen… we give up and move on. It’s like we stop believing what God has spoken and start walking in our own reasoning. Maybe we do get a few small victories here and there, but not enough to keep going… then we turn back to what we did before.
Strike the ground and believe that you are powerful!
Strike the ground and believe that you are God’s chosen!
Strike the ground and believe that God is not done with you yet and that He wants to fulfill every prophetic promise spoken over you.
What option do you really have?
