In the early hours of October 26, the Lord woke me up with a word for leaders in the days ahead.
The time is coming where the hour will require fearless leadership. It will require bold courage and in that will be a dying to reputation. Seeking to play the safe ground will not be safe. Seeking to avoid rocking the boat to keep in good stead, or keep in favour, or avoid controversy will not be safe. For the hour is coming and even is here where those who seek to save their lives will loose it.
In these days as the earth groans and shakes, it will become more apparent there is no supposedly middle ground to take. Many have yielded to the deception that there is a middle ground which is safe territory, but there is no middle ground. It’s either light or darkness. Those who love the light will come into the light as Jesus tells us in John 3:20-21 and their works will be seen as of God. But those who love darkness will not come into the light.
In these days many leaders who have sought to strive for the middle ground in seasons of testing in times past will be faced with choices. Some will not “see” or recognize that there is a choice before them as they have been conditioned to live before men. These ones will choose darkness without realizing as they choose the favor of men above the favor of God.
Others will realise they have a choice as the fire of God is now dealing with the heart bringing many out of denial to how they have feared man and served themselves and a need for recognition, reputation and status.
In these days choosing God will be controversial.
Choosing God will require a stand for truth and holiness.
Choosing God will rock the boat. The religious boat. The universalism boat. The political boat. The new age boat. And whatever other full of mixture or worldly doctrines of demons boat.
I see contractions in the spirit of a coming forth of those who will rule and reign, the sons of God about to be birthed for the time and age demand it. Hence the birthing in purity of love for their bridegroom king. A bride who has no other lovers, not even herself.
These shakings are indeed the Lord, and indeed there is a separation of the sheep and goats in this hour. Where goats have sounded like sheep and have been able to hide among the fold, the times and seasons themselves will expose those who serve themselves and those who don’t.
Choices are coming. Stands will need to be made, and courage to make those stands will be of essence. Just pray you have the eyes to see that it is in fact the Lord. For those pure in Heart will SEE God.
To take the land Joshua was exhorted by the Lord to have boldness and courage 3 times. These are the ingredients required for kingdom advancement in these days. I believe it marries with the three powers of overcoming explained in Revelation. The blood of the lamb, the word of our testimony, and the cruncher – loving not your life even unto death.
Many forget that to love not your life even unto death you need to be in love. And to be in love we know we have been loved first! A love revolution will turn the powers of darkness that hold a generation captive on their heads in these days.
The answer is this. If you fear to save your life, your ministry, your influence, your reputation, your friendships even, then let your heart return to its first love. Be revived in love for Him again as this is the key ingredient in overcoming. Everything has to mean nothing in comparison to Him, and there, from that place, choosing Him will be of no effort when the hour demands it.
