Seeing the God Who Sees

Put your trust in Him and open your eyes to seeing Him and what He is doing in your life.

Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-The-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” Genesis 16:15

Being rejected and feeling alone is a common feeling many have. Men and women, boys and girls often get rejected by someone that they care about and then feel as if no one in the world knows them or cares about them. It causes many to run away to try and escape their situation and seek some relief from the pain that they are feeling.

In order to have a child, Sarai gave her servant, Hagar to Abram. When Hagar became pregnant, Sarai hated her and treated her badly. Depressed Hagar fled from Sarai. God met her. Hagar called God, The God Who Sees, and realized she had also seen Him.

Being rejected and alone is painful. Hope is often lost. Giving up appears to be the best thing to do.

People often walk among hundreds of people daily yet have no one to lean upon. No one takes the time to see them, know them, or recognize them. Often it feels as if they are invisible and no one can see them anymore.

Although the world may not see a person, God still sees each and every one. He is willing to step out of heaven into the life of a person to meet with the person. Through Jesu,s He offers hope and life to those whom the world is rejecting and casting out.

Instead of being depressed, one needs to open up the eyes and see God all around. Even in the worst of circumstances God is right there waiting to be in one’s life. He knows and understands what one is going through and knows the best path through the situation. One can see God through spiritual eyes open to Him.

There will be times in which you will feel all alone and that most or all have rejected you. God has not rejected you or given up on you. Put your trust in Him and open your eyes to seeing Him and what He is doing in your life and all around you. God is watching you and has a plan for you. He wants to be a part of your life.

Are you trusting in God? Are you seeing the God who sees you?

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will be able to see how God is working in your life; that you will see and know God in a very personal way; and that God will remove any loneliness you may feel.
