Recently, I felt the Lord highlight the word Resonate. While I have heard others use this word often and even at times have found myself using it, I never looked it up.
Resonate – produce or be filled with a deep, full, reverberating sound.
“The sound of the siren resonated across the harbor.”
TECHNICAL – produce electrical or mechanical resonance.
As I read both of these definitions, the Holy Spirit declared…
“As I speak to my people going forward from this point, many are going to not just hear what I am declaring forth, but it is going to resonate within the innermost recesses of their being!
As they hear the sound of My voice, it is going to touch the depths of their being, the inward parts of their lives which no one sees or knows about except me.
As they receive, the sound of My voice is going to shake loose (within them) anything that can be shaken. As those things come to the surface (which are shakable) and they are exposed to the light, they will be removed and be replaced by that which is sure and unshakable, just as the kingdom you have received is sure and unshakable.” (Hebrews 12:27-28)
While the word resonate is not in the Bible by name, the effect of it is:
“His feet were like burnished [white-hot] bronze, refined in a furnace, and HIS VOICE WAS [POWERFUL] LIKE THE SOUND OF MANY WATERS.” Revelation 1:15
The Holy Spirit is speaking into the depths of our being, not just for the purposes of instruction, but He’s also going into the depths of our being in order to align our lives completely with His Will and Purposes in us.
He wants to get each of us to a place where the enemy has no place in us at all and where there’s nothing that the enemy can dredge up or pull out to accuse us with. A total Transformation of our lives as it is swallowed up by His Life.
God is calling to those Deep places inside of you:
“Deep calls to deep at the [thundering] sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.” Psalms 42:7
The more He speaks to us, the more we are going to be changed and Resonate (and Sound) the same way that He does. The Sound of His Voice is changing the Frequency of Your Life and your Heart to match His! For as He is, so are we in this world!
