Recently in prayer, I heard the word “pursue” very strongly in my spirit. As I prayed into that word and read scripture about it, the Lord was showing me that the people who passionately pursue him are about to enter a season of growth in relationship with him.
If you would pursue God for God, and not what he can do for you, everything would be given to you. Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Sometimes instead of trying to figure everything out, just seek the Lord about it, and he will supply everything you need.
In this season, we have to pursue God diligently because if we don’t, we end up searching for the answers, solutions, or resolve in the natural. When we focus on pursuing God instead of solving our natural problems, he takes care of what we are facing because he loves us and desires the best for our lives.
Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.” When we pursue God with faith, he rewards us for our diligence. All of this begins with pursuit, and not the pursuit of what God can do for you, but the pursuit of who God is.
Those who do not pursue God in this season might find themselves looking for solutions and answers that won’t compare to what God has in store for them. Always pray and seek God for wisdom because kingdom advancement is far greater than natural advancement in life.
God opens doors for those who seek him that the world could never offer, and when you pursue God from a pure heart, he will move on your behalf and everything will work out in your favor.
