TORCHBEARERS

HOST: JAKE KAIL

Jake Kail Ministries | Lancaster, PA

Jeremiah 29:11 is a favorite Bible passage for many that offers encouragement about God’s good plans for their lives. And while we can always trust that God has a plan, who was this specific statement written to, and in what context? In this episode, Jake looks deeper at the surrounding verses to show that this statement is not an unconditional promise of good things ahead, but a word of encouragement to God’s people in captivity with specific conditions attached. While we can certainly be encouraged by God’s good thoughts and plans for us, let’s not lose sight of the bigger picture!
