Welcome to Week #2 of a Brand NEW Summer Podcast Series called Equipping the Bride. Several months ago, the Lord told me He wanted me to spend more time recording my own podcast episodes and less interviewing authors for a season at least. As I prayed into what He wanted me to share, I felt a mandate from God to equip His Bride for the days ahead. As I began to outline and talk this out, I couldn’t think of a better person than Amie Rogers to join me in these equipping discussions. This series of podcast episode conversations is designed to equip and challenge you to step into your bridal identity.

Week #2 in our series on Equipping the Bride is Discernment

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

At the end of 2021 God began speaking to me about discernement and gave me an eye opening dream regarding the importance of this gift. The message was clear: It is essential that the people of God walk in and use discernment in all situations. If we do not, we will be caught unaware and be gutted by the enemy.

Discernment is an important spiritual gift and one that many overlook or discount as being important. Today, Amie and I discuss why Discernment is essential now more than every and why as the Bride of Christ we all need to be operating in it. We also look at discernment when it comes to personal prophecies and times and seasons.
