My Answer to You

You never leave me to wander off but continually pull me back to You!

Isaiah 52:7

How beautiful and delightful on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace, Who brings good news of good [things], Who announces salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

As I sit and reflect on my journey with You, my Lord, I reflect on my beginnings. I remember the early days, when everything was so fresh and new, when it was so easy to say, “YES!” to everything You asked of me.

Isn’t that like all of us in the beginning? We are so fearless! Ready to take on the world, because we still in a lot of ways are so naive to the ways of the enemy! We walk in child-like faith and trust in You, never doubting for a second that You are with us and will protect us!!

And then time, age, and experience take over and we tend to grow hesitant because we’ve learned so much more about how the enemy attacks, and it’s too easy to forget that YOU’VE NEVER CHANGED! YOU ARE STILL THE SAME SAVING GOD YOU’VE ALWAYS BEEN! YOU HAVEN’T LET GO OF OUR HAND! If anything, we have let go of Yours!

We have allowed the things of life to take more precedence than our passion for saying “YES!”

You’ve taught me so much on my journey with You, my Lord, and one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is to not let go of Your hand!!!

No matter how busy life gets, I must make sure I am still saying YES to whatever You are asking! And that requires spending time with You so I can hear You when You speak!

Life here is loud, You are not! I’ve learned I need to snuggle close to You in order to hear Your still quiet voice!

I never want to miss an opportunity to hear Your voice, to hear Your heart! To be available to do what You are asking of me. I pray I have not missed any opportunities, and if I have my Lord, I ask for Your forgiveness.

I want my life here to count for “YOU!”  That I leave an imprint of You behind when I’m gone. That others have known Your Love, have heard Your voice, or felt Your touch through what I have done in my time here.

John 13:20

I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.”

Psalm 43:3

Send out Your Light and Your TRUTH; let them guide me. Let them lead me to Your Holy Mountain, to the place where You live.

You always reach out to me to save me, even from myself, so that I can finish my call with honor and integrity. You never leave me to wander off but continually pull me back to You! You are a Faithful God!

Psalm 57:3

He reaches down from heaven and saves me, challenging the one who tramples me. Selah God sends His Faithful Love and TRUTH.

This is my heart cry. Even today Father God, I still say, use me. I may not be able to go physically, but I am able to go through the internet and I’m so beyond grateful for that! You’ve opened doors that no man can shut! Thank You!! May You always receive the Glory in all I do.

Isaiah 6:8

Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”
