Longing For the Father’s Touch

Trusting in Him, our hearts fill with wonderment.

Posted on

Thirsting and longing, we come seeking Him.
Touched by His love, we seek wanting more.
Sensing His Spirit moving, we cling to Him.
Totally forgiven, we soak in His righteousness.

Breathing in His presence, we long for more.
Trusting in Him, our hearts fill with wonderment.
Hands to the plow, not looking back, we delight.
Filled with excitement, longing fills with His touch.

Committed, we struggle through disappointments.
Knowing He is faithful, we long for His touch.
Focused upon the unseen, we do not lose sight.
With the eternal weight of glory in sight, we delight.

Learning contentment in all things, we find pleasure.
Sensing His touch in times of hardship, we treasure.
Refreshed by His touch, we press forward, longing.
Wholeheartedly following, we rejoice in desiring.

Discovering the key to His touch, He satisfies in all.
Nothing holding back, we find freedom no matter what.
Freedom gained, we experience His touch relentlessly.
Longing filled, His touch drives forward, fulfilling destiny.

While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
