Learn to praise Him;
Grab a song.
Join the choir;
Sing along.
Come find your voice
Above the noise
To sing and shout
And praise it out.
When darkest shadows
Fill your space;
You’ve fallen flat
Upon your face.
When life’s not fair;
You’re in despair.
Just pull away
And find somewhere
To grab a song
And find a mike
Then watch the enemy
Take a hike.
Oh, he can’t stand;
He’s lost his voice,
And praising Him
Is now your choice.
He has to run
And hide from you
Since praising Him
Brings your rescue.
So join the choir
And find a song
Cuz praising Him
Was what you needed
All along!
To all who mourn in Israel He will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness. – Isaiah 61:3
I will praise the name of God with song and magnify Him with thanksgiving. – Psalm 69:30
