I was recently thinking about the three major Jezebel attacks I’ve had in my life, and that the main door it has always come through was as a helper.
Then the LORD said, “Yes, Jezebel comes as a false Holy Spirit!”
Just look at the many traits of the Holy Spirit in John 16,
“Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.” John 16:7-14.
A False Holy Spirit
Many years ago, before I ever knew anything about the Jezebel Spirit, I had a Dream that I was going to go inside the Church Building where, at the time, I taught a Bible Study.
In the Dream, in the middle of the parking lot, was a woman who, with her great anointing, was drawing a crowd towards her.
She was clothed in light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
I looked as I saw people drawn to her, and just when they would get close, she would raise her hand, and they would seem to fall backward, like when you fall out in the Spirit.
So I began to go towards her, and suddenly I realized something was not right. But it was too late. I began to fall too.
I asked the LORD about this, and He even back then said, “This is a false Holy Spirit!”
So, shortly after that, I had been praying for someone to help me in Ministry, and a woman came into my life who befriended me and said she wanted to “help me.”
So I think you know where this is going, but it was the worst decision I ever made in Ministry and cost me years of walking out of it.
The good news is, God can take the things the enemy means to kill you and turn them around to take you somewhere you would have never gone.
Why am I telling you all of this?
Because there are many of you who have just gotten saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, and you are flying high.
God wants you to be aware of the wiles of the enemy so that you don’t have to stay in the process so long!
The Spirit of Jezebel will come as a helper to take the place of THE HELPER!
She or he will come to help you when you are at your lowest.
Know this! The Holy Spirit will always be your helper if you ask — and He will lead you in the way of the Word,
- Not in books that contradict The Word!
- Not in self-help manuals or not in another God or person!
If this other person comes and gets your focus off The Word or Jesus Christ and onto them — then it is a false Holy Spirit!
You must, in these days of all sorts of false information, keep your eyes on God and His Word!
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32.
You see, I call this the Truth model of Deliverance. Only God’s Truth will set you free!
There are many more traits of the Holy Spirit in John 16 that the Jezebel spirit tries to mimic to get you to open the door to her, and I will talk about them in another post, but for the sake of time, I wanted to deal with the first one I encountered.
I want us all to be ready for this so that we can fly in this awakening on the earth!
It’s time to throw Jezebel down!
