Christian believers often refer to Eagles as representing the Prophets or Prophetic people. However, there are a few interesting things about Eagles and other birds that we don’t usually think about.
One of those things is, what the birds actually do with their young once they reach a certain age of maturity. The parents actually kick their young out of the nest or they make the nest so uncomfortable by withholding food so that the chicks will attempt to leave of their own accord.
Something similar happens to us as Believers in Jesus Christ once we reach a certain age of spiritual maturity. The flow of all of that wonderful Revelatory Food and that sweet Presence of God feels like it just dries up all of a sudden.
While God never abandons us, because He never leaves us or forsakes us, He waits for us to take a leap of faith out of the comfortable place that we’ve been in, in order to test our wings in the air above, so that we can transition into the Air (the Supernatural realm) above us.
Sometimes in that testing process, we may wind up on the ground below, while we’re attempting to take to the air, but even while this is happening the Lord will chase off all of the other predators attempting to take us out during that time when we’re grounded.
If you’re feeling like you’re grounded today, God hasn’t abandoned you. He’s actually Hovering over your life until you’re ready to take to the Air with Him.
During this process of great transition, between the ground and the air, the most important thing that you can do is wait upon Him and continue to exercise your Supernatural Abilities (wings) that He has given you. You will eventually begin to take to the Air above all of the things concerning you that are surrounding your life.
“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.” Isaiah 40:31
Many of us in the Body of Christ are transitioning from the Church life (the nest) into a place of Supernatural Maturity in the Air (Kingdom of God Life). While there’s nothing wrong with continuing to attend a church fellowship somewhere, we must grow up into Him Who is the Head of the Body.
Only when we become what God has destined us to be, will we truly feel fulfilled in our Destiny that God has prepared for us (Romans 8:29-30). So if you’ve been kicked out of the nest by the Lord, it’s not to destroy you, it’s to transition you into Air with Him!
