“God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he’ll have compassion on you; he’ll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered.” Deuteronomy 30:3
As I waited on the Lord I saw scene after scene of situations where the enemy had come into lives to kill, steal, and destroy. He came in like a thief and he took from you— leaving behind trauma and suffering. Then I saw the Lord come upon the scene as these traumatic moments and events were recalled. But it changed into what appeared to be a courtroom and the events of the past were being brought forth as evidence against the enemy and his cohorts.
Then I heard verdict after verdict being read in favor of the saints. The enemy was being found guilty of every sort of evil imaginable. And God was decreeing “PAYBACK!” But the payback wasn’t to come from the hands of the enemy— it was to come from the storehouses of Heaven. They were new things, pure things— better things.
Though the enemies of God were being found guilty— his punishment would come at a later time— for this trial was about restoration regarding what had been taken from God’s people or wrongs visited upon his people that are living today.
I saw vindication coming to you. And I saw you receiving it in faith. I even saw vindication for deaths that seemingly occurred prematurely. The vindication became new babies being birthed, offspring given and families extended— even marriages coming forth for those who had been waiting.
I could see the restoration of bodies, of health, of finances, of land, homes, property, and of inheritances. It came forth for entire families— for parents, children, and grandchildren. None were left out.
Where many felt stuck in patterns or cycles of trauma and loss— I saw them being set free from what I can only describe as a demonic whirlwind that they hadn’t been able to escape. The Lord pulled them out and placed them in green pastures and beside still waters— and like in Psalm 23– he began restoring their souls! There was a ministry of inner healing happening as the Spirit of God was restoring souls and softening hearts to be fully his again (some for the first time).
“God, we receive the restoration and vindication that you have decreed. We, by faith, receive the payback that your verdict has rendered. Thank you for opening up the storehouses of heaven to lavish good and perfect gifts upon your children. We say, ‘Begin with our hearts!’ Soften and heal any hardening of hearts due to trauma and pain. Soften the hearts of our children as well so that they may love you with their whole hearts. Restore to your people the joy of their salvation! May you receive glory, honor, and praise.”
